Trucard - Discover Eden
Packwell Cartons of Kent have produced a unique souvenir and gift item based on The Eden Project using Trucard Duo from Tullis Russell Papermakers. The package, designed and marketed by TURNHAM LTD, uses a combination of cards and building joints to construct a model based on the Project’s BIOME structures. The cards also double up as a TRIVIA QUIZ with a series of questions and answers ABOUT PLANTS. Daniel Hall, Sales Manager for Packwell Cartons commented: “ We were very pleased to undertake this job for such a prestigious and worthy scheme. We chose Trucard for its identical printing surfaces offering excellent gloss and smoothness with great rigidity which lends itself to the constructional aspects of the product. Importantly our ecological concerns were satisfied as Trucard is fully recycleable and is made from ECF wood pulps which are sourced from sustainable managed forests.”
Trucard is a solid bleached sulphate board used widely in premium packaging and graphical applications where its excellent printability has established a strong reputation.

It provides designers and specifiers with two identical surfaces with which to work and the products are available in a wide range of substances, from 200-500gsm.Typical applications include premium packaging as well as promotional items, brochures, covers, tags, scratch cards, tickets etc.
